At Sunny Braids, our philosophy is simple: Focus on one thing and be the best at it. For us, that’s braids.

We specialize in over 30 unique braiding styles for women, men, and kids (ages 5 and up). From box braids to cornrows, knotless styles to twists — we take pride in creating beautiful, confident looks for every client.

Competitive Pay: Starting at $10.50 per hour plus tips, with opportunities to earn productivity bonuses and a $100 anniversary gift!

Productivity bonuses: Earn $1.50 extra for every add-on service, $2 extra per braid after 16 braids per week, and up to $5 for every loyal client who keeps coming back to you.

On average, our braiders earn $480–$500 per week (including tips).

We’re Looking For Braiders Who:

• Are 18 years or older

• Are available for a part-time schedule (4 days a week, 8-hour shifts)

• Have strong shampooing, blow-dry, and styling skills

• Can do two natural braids in under 45 minutes

• Have a passion for amazing service and building client relationships

• Bring a positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and strong work ethic

Compensation Overview

Our braiders typically earn around $480–$500 per week, combining base pay and tips.
That’s $336 in guaranteed base pay plus an average of $150 in weekly tips — and your income grows with your skill, productivity, speed, and repeat clients.
